CGM readings flow in through Apple Health — any CGM that writes there shows up here. A1C and ketones get their own surfaces. The correlation chart lets you see what happened two hours after that 60-gram dinner.

Diabetes is a group of conditions in which blood glucose stays higher than it should. Type 1 is an autoimmune destruction of the insulin-producing beta cells and requires lifelong exogenous insulin. Type 2 involves insulin resistance plus relative insulin deficiency and is the most common form globally. Gestational diabetes appears during pregnancy and usually resolves after delivery. LADA, MODY, and post-pancreatic forms add more nuance.
The daily mechanics are the same across types: glucose in, insulin available, carbs eaten, the result two hours later. The hub is built around those four streams.

Glucose readings flow into Leo from Apple Health — which means any CGM that writes to HealthKit (Dexcom, Libre, Eversense and others) shows up automatically, and fingerstick meters that sync to Apple Health do too. Manual fingerstick logging is also one tap away.

Insulin logging is purpose-built — not jammed into the general medications surface. Bolus and basal doses are tracked separately so daily totals and trends mean what you'd expect them to. Choose from twelve insulin brands or enter a custom name:
Each dose captures units, time, and links to a meal if you log carbs in the same window. The 7-day insulin trend chart shows bolus and basal as stacked bars with daily averages, so total daily dose (TDD) and basal:bolus split are visible at a glance.
Quarterly numbers and sick-day signals, both surfaced.
Log A1C from any lab draw. The card shows color-coded value (under 5.7% green, 5.7–6.4% orange, over 6.5% red), trend chart across visits, and the estimated average glucose calculated using the standard formula (eAG = 28.7 × A1C − 46.7).
Blood (mmol/L) or urine (negative / small / moderate / large) ketone logging with color-coded severity. Important on sick days, with SGLT2 inhibitors, or any time glucose runs high. The card keeps recent values alongside the glucose timeline.

Diabetes has decades of standards-of-care, devices, and ecosystems built around it. Leo doesn't try to replace any of them. The list below is the active backlog — every item is on the feature-parity tracker, and this page gets updated as items ship.
Not live yet. The iOS-side integration is built — OAuth, token storage, 5-minute polling, alerts — but the blocker is on Dexcom's side: they are not currently accepting new API partners. Today glucose comes through Apple Health, which covers Dexcom and any other CGM that writes to HealthKit (Libre, Eversense, etc.).
Not built yet. Insulin is manual basal/bolus logging only — there's no direct pump sync with Tandem, Omnipod, or Medtronic today.
DIY closed-loop systems and Tidepool reports aren't pulled in.
Carbs are entered manually with meal type and description; no built-in nutrition database or barcode scanner.
An offline emergency card with type, current insulin, latest A1C, and glucagon instructions. There's a gastroparesis ER card today; the diabetes version isn't shipped yet.
Ketones can be logged any time; a dedicated sick-day flow that pairs glucose, ketones, fluid intake, and a checklist isn't built.
